Metro Exodus Looks Gorgeous In New 4K Gameplay Demo

The Metro games have always looked stunning- their stark art style rendered and realized incredibly well by the technical chops of the developers over at 4A Games. It looks like Metro: Exodus won’t be much different in that regard- the game, which we already know plans to leverage the full extent of resources that consoles like PS4 Pro and Xbox One X afford it, got a new gameplay demonstration at E3, and it looked eye blisteringly good there.

The demo is in native 4K- make sure to play the video at that resolution if you have a screen that can actually handle video output at a resolution that high. The footage shows how the levels that take you across post apocalyptic Russia this time around will be wide open, unlike the more constrained linearity of the previous games.

Metro Exodus is due out in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Make sure to check out the footage for yourself below.
