Metroid Prime 4 Being Developed By New Development Team, Still Has Series Producer Overseeing Development

Being developed in house at Nintendo.

Posted By | On 13th, Jun. 2017

Metroid Prime 4 is coming, but it won’t be made by series custodians Retro Studios. Instead, a brand new team in house at Nintendo EAD will be making the game. This was confirmed by Nintendo’s Bill Trinen. That said, however, longtime producer Kensuke Tanabe, who produced the previous Metroid Prime games, is still producing Metroid Prime 4, so he should be able to ensure the new game adheres to the vision of the original trilogy.

Nothing more is known about Metroid Prime 4 at all- we know it was announced earlier today, and we know it is in development for the Nintendo Switch, but that’s all we know. We don’t even know the release date for now.

Hopefully, we get to see more of Metroid Prime 4 as time goes on, and hopefully, the new game manages to live up to just how amazing the original trilogy was. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information from E3.
