Phil-Spencer

Microsoft has announced a Windows 10 event for quite a while now- this event is what is going to be the public unveiling of the next generation of Windows, after the largely disappointing Windows 8 family. And we have also known for a while that gaming will be a big focus during this event, with announcements related to both, PC gaming and Xbox gaming expected. This, coupled with the fact that we already know Windows 10 will have some deep Xbox integration, and you can see why we all have reason to be excited, right?

Right. Well, ahead of January 21 (which is when the event will be held), here’s some more news for you that should get you pumped: while new game announcements are not confirmed to be the focus of the show, they will show off the platform and capabilities, Phil Spencer confirmed. He also confirmed that major news for both, Xbox and Windows, would be coming.

Alright, sounds good. I’ll buy one ticket for the hype train, please.
