Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor Looks Great In This New 25 Minutes of Gameplay Footage

More light than shadow.

As a lifelong Tolkien fan, I’m pretty excited for Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor. And while I have had (and still continue to have) some reservations about whether the actual game will be able to do justice to its license, as we see more and more of the game, my doubts are dispelled further and further.

For instance, take these 25 minutes of gameplay footage we just received for the game. It looks really great. And I don’t just mean graphically, where it’s looking pretty good, I also mean in terms of it finally delivering to us the sort of authentic and great Lord of the Rings experience that we as fans of both the series and video games have always deserved. Under Warner Bros.’ watch, the Batman license evolved from shovelware to one of the best series in gaming. I fully anticipate them achieving the same with Shadow of Mordor.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
