Mighty No. 9’s New Release Date Is February 2016

Until it gets delayed again, that is.

Mighty No. 9 Action

The perennially delayed Mighty No. 9, Comcept and Inti Create’s spiritual successor to/rip off of Capcom’s classic Mega Man franchise, has yet another release date- now the game is slated to launch in February 2016, it appears. Specifically, the game is due out on February 9 in North America, and February 12 everywhere else.

Of course, don’t pull out your calendars and start counting down the dates just yet- this has happened before, numerous times. A release date has been publicly committed to for this game before, and at the last minute, the rug has been yanked from under our feet, as the game was delayed. I’m not going to believe this game is actually releasing until I have it in my hands.

Mighty No. 9 is being helmed by Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man. It was one of the first Kickstarter successes, and it will be coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.
