F.E.A.R. 2 added a sense of dread. Yes the developers managed to pull that off with the sequel and give us even more suspenseful and horrifying moments in the game. The game did not rest on its laurels instead the craftsman ship on buildings, ruins, locales were really detailed and the textures were well painted with the inclusion of bump mapping and lighting.
