Minecraft

Minecraft has received a new update for PC. Dubbed the Bountiful update, it adds a whole bunch of new items, mobs and features. Some of the items include granite, andesite and diorite blocks. You’ll also be able to create iron trapdoors, banner and armour stands. There’s even a new kind of dirt called coarse dirt on which grass doesn’t grow.

The new mobs include Guardians and Endermites. The former is especially significant because defeating them will yield items. Mojang also added rabbits to the mix which come with their own item drops and the ability to eat sheep. So yes, if you’re low on food and can’t find a cow for miles, feel free to harvest the nearby sheep for nutrition instead.

Of course there are fixes and balances including rebalanced villager trading and anvil repair, the use of lapis lazuli while enchanting items and so on. You can check out the full list of fixes and changes here.
