Minecraft: PS4 Edition Delayed Due to Issues

4J Studios announces that it will need to go through the certification process again.

93. A Beautiful Day in Minecraft

It was revealed last week that Minecraft: PS4 Edition, created on Mojang’s popular sandbox title and ported to consoles by 4J Studios, was going through the certification process. This meant that it would have been that much closer to release but there’s some bad news.

4J Studios revealed on its official Twitter that, “Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4. We’re fixing, but we need to go through the process again.”

The interesting part is that the Xbox One Edition seems to be doing just fine. Could it be that the developer had all of its issues sorted out well in advance? Regardless, neither next gen console edition has a release date yet. It only seems that the PS4 version will take longer.
