The latest update for the console version of Minecraft is now available for download. Update 11 passed Microsoft’s certification on May 10th and went live just yesterday evening for the Xbox 360 version.
The update brings a ton of fixes to the game. The full list of the changes made to the game in Title Update 11 includes a fix for an explosion lag issue on clients when playing online, fireballs no longer hanging in the air in a save game and showing only the spawn limit message to a player trying to spawn things.
The spawn limit overrun for shearing or breeding mushrooms has also been fixed, along terrain mipmaps being updated to include the latest version of gravel texture in them.
There is also an increased limit for Paintings, Item Frames, Villagers and Snow Golems along with a message displaying when you’ve reached the maximum limit of Paintings and Item Frames. Also, the update reduces the Ghast’s sound volume. And that’s just good news for everyone.
