Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst Pre-Order Bonuses Don’t Seem To Be Anything Special

It's nothing special, sadly.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

The pre-order bonuses for Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, the follow up to DICE and EA’s cult hit first person parkour platform on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, have been revealed, and… really, they don’t appear to be anything special. Which is, honestly, a bit of a shame.

According to the game’s Amazon page, pre-orders gets access to  the Combat & Speed Runner Kit. Which sounds really cool, but really, doesn’t seem to be anything special:

The features in the pack include:

  • Combat-themed & Speed-themed Projection Shader – Change how you appear in other player’s worlds
  • Runner Tag – Stand out in the leaderboard
  • Unique Background – Customize your Screen Hacks

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is due out in May on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it promises to give the IP, which slipped under most people’s radars last generation in spite of its obvious quality, another shot at mainstream success. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game.
