Modern Warfare 2 – Stimulus DLC Pack Detailed

Posted By | On 17th, Mar. 2010

This March 30th, the first downloadable content package will be available for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.  The package will be exclusively available on the Xbox 360 for one month before it becomes available on the PC and Playstation 3.  This DLC is being called the ‘Stimulus’ Pack and will include the following multiplayer maps:

  • “Bailout,” a multi-level apartment complex
  • “Storm,” an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery
  • “Salvage,” a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare classic reworked maps:

  • “Crash,” a war-torn urban environment
  • “Overgrown,” which features a massive dry creek bed

As exciting as it may sound to finally be getting DLC for one of the highest grossing games of all time, the pack will cost you a whole 1200 Microsoft Points which equivalent to $15 and that is just an outrageous price that goes way beyond the past pricing for DLC that contains multiplayer maps not just for Call of Duty game, but for any game.  It looks like the two recently layed off Infinity Ward presidents took all the company morals and loyalty to fans with them when they left.  Welcome to the corporation known as Activision folks!
