Hot on the heels of having recently announced that Modern Warfare 3 will be coming over to the Wii with the help of developers Treyarch, Activision has announced that even the DS will be getting a version of the first person shooter.

Activision has announced that, like the previous DS Call of Duty versions, Modern Warfare 3 will be handheld by n-Space for the dual screened handheld.

Says  Activision social media manager Dan Amrich- “They’ve done the handheld editions of COD4:MW, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, and World at War, among many other DS games. So, the DS version is also in expert hands.”

So, who wants to bet there’ll be a 3DS version too?

Bobby Kotick recently also said that the excitement and anticipation surrounding Modern Warfare 3 in unlike anything he has ever seen in the company’s history.
