Battlefield 3

FrostBite 2.0

The biggest advantage Battlefield 3 seems to have over Modern Warfare 3 is the awesome new FrostBite 2.0 engine, which not just lends great authenticity and realism to this game, but also makes it look breathtaking, and one of the best looking games you’ll lay your eyes on for some time to come. The attention to detail in the game’s visuals is awesome, with great lighting effects and animations, and looks good enough to rival the likes of Crysis.

Awesome destructible environments

Battlefield has always been known for its destructible environments, and Battlefield 3 has no intention of letting that go. The destructible environments in the game are simply awesome, and better than ever before in the BF series with the new FrostBite 2.0 engine’s support. I spent several hours simply destroying buildings and environments with my guns in Bad Company 2, and it looks like the same is going to happen with BF3.

Highly realistic

Battlefield games offer a highly realistic, authentic military shooting experience, with team play, real gun mechanics, amazing sound effects and of course, destructibility coming into play. Battlefield 3 looks more realistic than any Battlefield game ever, and that definitely is a huge advantage it has over Modern Warfare 3. For those who’re looking for a realistic experience, Battlefield 3 is definitely the way to go.

Great, enjoyable multiplayer

The Call of Duty series might have a great multiplayer component, but that doesn’t mean Battlefield doesn’t as well. Bad Company and Bad Company 2 had two of the top MP components for any shooter, and Battlefield games have, of course, always been known for their impressive MP. Battlefield 3’s mulriplayer looks awesome, and definitely, I will be spending many hours playing it. It has several advantages over MW3 too, like being more balanced, so I am really looking forward to it.

Conclusion

If you want a realistic, authentic military game, Battlefield 3 is definitely the one you should buy. It also has a great multiplayer component which seems highly enjoyable and will encourage a lot of replayablitiy, and it has a much longer campaign than what you will find in Modern Warfare 3.
