More Information About GTA Online Heists Leaked

Hey, remember heists for GTA: Online? They were supposed to be a thing in the game. They were promised to us long ago, and so far, they’re still not here, with the game nearly a year out from its original release. Man, delays, right? They suck.

Still, at least with Rockstar, we know that any product that they do eventually ship (sigh) will be a quality one, so we can at least be reasonably confident that GTA: Online’s heists will be pretty damn good too. And if this leaked information that we have gotten our hands on is correct, then this assumption may in fact be true.

It appears that player roles for GTA: Online’s heists will include driver, hacker, hired gun, leader, parachutist and sniper (all of these were found in the source code of the game); moreover, the maximum payout for a heist appears to be $1.5 million, a hefty amount that might actually end up messing the in game economy (depending on exactly how well the difficulty of the heists themselves scales).

GTA: Online is the multiplayer component for GTA 5, which was launched last year on Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be launching for Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year.
