Mortal Kombat 1 Adds Homelander on June 4 for Kombat Pack Owners

Homelander from The Boys joins the roster soon, with Ferra following as a Kameo fighter later in the month.

The penultimate fighter in Mortal Kombat 1’s first Kombat Pack, Homelander of Amazon Prime’s The Boys fame, is set to be added to Mortal Kombat 1 soon. Following a recent, brief trailer, WB Games and developer NetherRealm Studio have showcased another trailer, this time offering a much meatier look at gameplay.

The trailer showcases Homelander (who isn’t voiced by Antony Starr here) in action against the likes of Liu Kang, Kitana, and Sub-Zero, while also showcasing the supervillain’s superpowered abilities and moveset, which sees him being able to fly, shoot lasers out of his eyes, dole out crunching punches and kicks, and unleash a Fatality that involves a plane. Check it out in all of its bloody glory in the trailer below.

Homelander will be added to Mortal Kombat 1’s roster on June 4 for Kombat Pack owners and for June 11 for everyone else, while Ferra will also be arriving as a Kameo fighter at some point later in June.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
