Developer NetherRealm Studios has released a new trailer for upcoming fighting game Mortal Kombat 1. The trailer focuses on the former leader of the Umgadi warriors Li Mei. Check out the trailer below.

Along with giving us a quick rundown of Li Mei’s backstory, the trailer also gives us a solid look at her gameplay and current story. The trailer also reveals that Tanya and Baraka will be a part of the game’s roster, and gives us a look at some of their gameplay and combat styles as well.

Since its announcement earlier this year, Mortal Kombat 1 has seen quite a few character reveals and trailers. Earlier this month, we got a trailer showing off Smoke, Cyrax, Sektor, Rain, and Frost as part of the Mortal Kombat 1 roster across main fighters and Kameo characters.

NetherRealm Studios has also confirmed Homelander, Peacemaker, and Omni-Man as DLC characters for the game, true to leaks.

Mortal Kombat 1 is slated for release on September 19, and will be making its way on to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The game is slated to get a beta in August, which will be available to those who pre-order the game. Premium and Kollector’s Edition buyers will also get early access to the game on September 15.
