The steady drop of release of DLC fighters for the highly successful Mortal Kombat 11 is underway with the return of Shang Tsung to the roster. We already know part of the Kombat Pack, but there’s still at least two guest characters that we don’t know about yet- and a new datamine could shine light on those (or not, if  you chose to believe a certain actor).

Shortly before the game released, the Switch version of the game was datamined, which potentially revealed DLC characters. Everyone on that list was eventually confirmed by the announcement of Shang Tsung, except for a few: Ash Williams, Joker (presumably of DC Comics), Terminator, and Mortal Kombat‘s Fujin. We do know at least two guest characters are coming, though Bruce Campbell has twice denied that Ash will be on the roster.

Well, some users on Reddit have datamined the last patch for the PC version of the game, and guess who shows up in the code? Yes, again, all of the ones listed above. Now, it’s possible this is code moved over, but it’s also worth noting that along with this, Nightwolf’s info in the code has been altered to include commands, which most likely means he’ll be the next character in line- something that Ed Boon just teased on Twitter as well.

It’s speculation now due to the method of obtaining the information, but sure does seem like a lot of smoke in the air. We’ll just have to see. Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
