Mortal Kombat 11, the latest instalment in the long-running fighting series, is finally here. While there’s been a lot to be excited for, one of the biggest things the game has pushed in its marketing is the high customization characters will have. Lead Character Artist for NetherRealm Studios, Brendan George, recently put up an update on the official PlayStation Blog to detail some of the more outlandish costumes you can get for your fighters.

Erron Black gets a popping red costume with a candy stripped rifle, and Shao Kahn gets a prehistoric look, complete with a full skeleton mask, as opposed to the half-faced one he traditionally sports, and serious viking-style horns. Series newcomer Cetrion and series regular Raiden go the other direction and have a much grimmer, darker look to contrast their main, more colorful defaults. It’s only a drop in the bucket, but it gives you an idea of just how many options and contrasts you’ll have for gear in the game. You can check out the costumes below.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. For an idea of just how long it’ll take you to unlock costumes and gear in the game, you can check out our review here.
