Mortal Kombat Deception

So after the positive reception of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, Mortal Kombat Deception made a slight turn into the bizarre. The Story mode sees the forces of good continuing their war against the Deadly Alliance and the resurrected Dragon King Onaga, who uses the Kamidogu, six artifacts of immense power, to decimate his foes. Konquest would have its own dedicated story, focusing on Shujinko as he undertook a mission to retrieve the Kamidogu. The fighting system from Deadly Alliance was still intact and expanded further with Combo Breakers, three per match. However, it also added weapons and traps to stages, the latter capable of killing players immediately. Then there was Puzzle Kombat, Chess Kombat and Konquest mode being requiredfor Treasure Keys to use in the Krypt. Mortal Kombat Deception was still pretty good, all said and done.
