Black Desert

Developer: Pearl Abyss
Publisher: Daum Communications
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 (unconfirmed)

If you’re an MMORPG fan then there is no doubt you’ve heard of Black Desert. This game has been hyped since it first released in Korea and while we slowly inch closer to a western release the hype only continues to grow. Set in a fantasy world, the story surrounds several nations at war when a plague has started to take out several citizens within each nation.

Unsure of which nation is at blame, war strikes out leaving the world in a chaotic state. Gamers can expect a vast large world thanks to Pearl Abyss’ Black Desert engine that was developed to allow fast rendering making a more seamless world. A dynamic day and night cycle will be present and may affect certain quests or NPCs. Furthermore, there will be a fast combat and parkour system similar to the Assassin’s Creed series.
