Snake and Meryl
Snake and Meryl have seen each other through a lot of shit, and they inspire such confidence in people who are just looking to have a relationship. Over the course of the game, the two have a rocky relationship, but they bond in a nuclear warhead storage building of all places. Snake and Meryl know the meaning of trails in a relationship, and they survive a lot of trials from impending death, to outright torture. If any couple is a shining example of perseverance, it’s these two.
