Batman and Oracle

Oracle, also known as Batgirl, was subjected to the wheelchair after the Joker shot her in the spine (read the Killing Joke). Since then Batgirl took on the identity of the Oracle, where she uses her technical expertise and helps Batman in terms of information support- where to go, weaknesses of his enemies, and of course being his secondary conscience in deciding what takes priority. They both make a great team, and they both get the job done.
