Tidus and Yuna (Final Fantasy X)

Arguably the most well known couple and love story in all of gaming, Tidus and Yuna are a tragic story of celibate love. Both were in love with each other, both knew it, but neither could do anything about it because of the circumstances that conspire around them. From Tidus understanding his place in the world to Yuna understanding the meaning of sacrifice, these two were people who needed and desired each other, and helped each other greatly… but never got to truly act upon their love. Final Fantasy X is one of the greatest love stories of all time, and the ending for it will make you tear up like few games ever will.
