36. Assassin’s Creed 2- DRM
Assassin’s Creed 2 was one of the best games in the franchise and everyone fell in love with the game, so much that Ubisoft ‘managed’ to kill the game’s hype by themselves. The PC version of the game came with an obtrusive DRM, in which the player had to be connected to internet constantly, and if they got disconnected the game would stop and revert back to the previous checkpoint. This was a feeble attempt by Ubisoft to crack down on piracy, and as you would expect it did not work.
