Naraka: Bladepoint Gets 3-Player Campaign Mode in Latest Update, New Map Coming August 19

Naraka: Bladepoint has gotten a major free update, adding a 3-player campaign to the game. The studio has also announced that August 19 will see a new map coming to the game.

Developer 24 Entertainment and publisher NetEase have released a new update for Naraka: Bladepoint. The update, dubbed Showdown, is essentially a brand new campaign mode. The update is available for free on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

The Showdown campaign involves players teaming up in teams of three to take on a series of challenges across two stages. The first stage involves fighting against hordes of eneies across the map before fighting off a boss.

The campaign features four playable heroes, each with their own powers and abilities. The characters are upgraded over the course of the campaign with new equipment and skills.

The studio has also announced that a new map will be coming to Naraka: Bladepoint on August 19. Titled Holoroth, the features a new region with deserts and snowy areas, as well as new gameplay-affecting features like a weather system, interactive objects, and traps. Having recently released on Xbox Series X/S, Naraka: Bladepoint is now available on PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Versions for PS5, Xbox One, and Android/iOS are also in the works.
