NBA 2K18 New Trailer Shows Off How The Game Achieved Its Graphical Quality

NBA 2K18 is almost here, and ahead of its release, 2K is drumming up the hype for the game by showcasing a new trailer to demonstrate its graphics and art. According to 2K, this is the ‘best looking NBA game possible’, and the new video shows us just how the team achieved that, expending thousands of man hours to ensure they got the details and atmosphere right.

The video is narrated by Art Director Joel Friesch, and walk us through how real life players were recreated digitally, and how minor details like stretch marks, scars, faded tattoos, and stains were all re-generated in painstaking detail. For players who have an eye for accuracy, this sort of effort to ensure authenticity will surely be appreciated.
