Namco Bandai’s flight simulation and air combat series Ace Combat has seen better days, but the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Ace Combat Infinity, looks pretty swell.
The upcoming free to play title, set on Earth, was formally announced last month, and it looks like a pretty good game, a return to form for the series that plummeted in quality after Fires of Liberation, the sixth game in the series, released as an Xbox 360 exclusive.
The trailer above shows the game in action, including several co-op missions, the customization options available to players within the game, and also a great scene with the pilots trying to take down a giant warship.
