New Cinematic Far Cry 4 Trailer Is Cinematic

The definition of insanity.

Far Cry 3 managed to tell a pretty interesting story that benefitted mostly from its characterizations and its atmosphere; Far Cry 4 promises to take all of that up and kick it up a notch further, and it will apparently do that by being better at how it tells its story. The definition of insanity, after all, is doing the same thing over and over again.

So, to see what kind of storytelling awaits you in Far Cry 4, here’s a brand new ‘cinematic’ trailer, that shows you what the cutscenes in the game will be like. Honestly, they look pretty top notch and high quality- my only hopes are that the story itself is actually worth a damn, and that they don’t detract from the gameplay itself.

Of course, this is Far Cry, so even if these turn out to be distracting, I can safely choose to ignore them and just enjoy the bombastic gameplay, when it launches on November 18 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC.
