New Code Vein Screenshots Show Off The Game’s Battle System

There is no doubt the game looks great.

Code Vein, the new anime themed Dark Souls styled action RPG coming from Bandai Namco early next year, remains an enigma to many western gamers, despite having piqued their interest (when ordinarily a game like it never would have) thanks to Namco’s clever positioning of it in the lead up to the game’s reveal.

That is in spite of the fact that Bandai Namco have been meticulously releasing new screens for the game on a regular basis- such as today. Below you can see a gallery of 1080p screenshots for the game, a lot of them focusing on the game’s battle system, which will take from Dark Souls, but will also put it own spin and complexities on it.

Code Vein is due to launch at some point next year, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Whether or not it is able to buck the trend, and do better than an anime styled RPG otherwise (ordinarily) would, is something that remains to be seen.
