A new Diablo 3 patch- specifically patch 2.1.1- is now out, and as always, it brings a multitude of fixes and changes to Diablo 3, both on the surface and under the hood, but the most visible one this time around is definitely the changes that they have made to pets, who have been buffed up, which means they aren’t absolutely f***ing useless for a change.

The changes include increase in the Life and Speed skills for pets, which means they are actually somewhat useful now, which also makes the Witch Doctor class more viable than it was before. Other, non pet-related changes to the games include changes to the Adventure Mode, as well as changes in the drop rates for the Rift Guardians, which should decrease the number of crafting materials you get from Kadela.

Currently, these changes are only available in the PC version- the patch should also be issued to the console versions of the game soon, however.
