Namco Bandai games are working to bring us Enemy Front in North and South America and they’ve decided to share this trailer with us.
What is Enemy Front? It is a game set in the Second World War, and this trailer shows us the Warsaw Uprising (incidentally, Warsaw, Poland is where the developer of the game, CI Games, is based too). It’s actually pretty neat that they chose to handle this at all, because no other video game till date has depicted this event- The Uprising resulted in death of thousands of Polish resistance fighters and literally hundreds of thousands of Polish citizens in mass executions, so it was an important event. The fact that they are adding it to the game tells us that it will be aiming not just for historical authenticity, but also an emotional quotient.
Enemy Front will be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC later this year.
