Far Cry 4 was one of the rare games that launched this season without many bugs, glitches, and online connectivity problems plaguing it (even more surprising considering that the game comes from Ubisoft, who also probably launched the most broken game of the season- Assassin’s Creed: Unity). That said, there were loads of relatively more minor (and grating) issues with the game, and Ubisoft has been working overtime to address all of these.
The newest patch for Far Cry 4 on the PC, for example, addresses the problem with how the game has black and grey screen errors upon starting up the game, or between missions.
“The new patch should solve the problem causing users to encounter a black screen upon attempting to launch the game, as well as providing a remedy to those who saw a grey screen when reaching the end of an Outpost Master Mission,” Ubisoft said.
This isn’t the end of patches for Far Cry 4 either- Ubisoft, for instance, promised that a future patch for the game will address mouse acceleration.
