New features detailed for Ocarina of Time 3DS

Nintendo have detailed a few of the extra features that will be present in the upcoming 3DS remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The inclusion of the remixed Master Quest mode is old news, but a boss rush mode has also been confirmed. As you’ve probably guessed, the Boss Rush mode will allow players to challenge defeated bosses again or opt to face all of them one after the other in a continuous battle.

The game may also contain a superguide feature seen in other recent Nintendo titles with Nintendo hinting that “players not so familiar to the Legend of Zelda series can also get a helping hand through bite sized videos available in-game, which will provide hints on how to solve puzzles encountered during your journey.”

The final bit of info was that the game isn’t being developed by Nintendo themselves and is actually being developed by Grezzo, the studio headed up by Secret of Mana creator Kouichi Ishii. Alarm bells may be ringing but Secret of Mana was pretty bad-ass, so I guess it won’t go too wrong.

Thanks to CVG for the info.
