New Footage of No Man’s Sky Shows Us The Center of the Universe

Still no release date, though.

We’ve been hearing about No Man’s Sky forever now, but it blows my mind every single time they show it. At Sony’s E3 presser today, they decided to take us to the center of the galaxy (which is the goal of No Man’s Sky’s ‘campaign,’ apparently), and showed us a brand new planet. While we saw some more of exploration and proceduaral generation, we also got to see some new gameplay mechanics and features, including fully destructible environments on all the planets that we can visit (and we can visit a hell of a lot of them), and persistent trading, bounties, and economy.

We still did not get a release date for the game, though we were promised that it would be coming soon. At this point, we can expect the game to launch some time before the end of this year, however, giving Sony a pretty strong lineup by the end of the year, all said and done.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information from E3.
