New Forza 5 Direct Feed Video Shows Off Racing on Sebring

Still 1080p and 60FPS.

Another day, another Forza Motorsport 5 video. The upcoming game, which is the fifth mainline entry in the franchise, and the sixth installment overall, will also be the first in the series to launch a new generation of hardware. A lot rests on it looking good and setting a technical standard for the new console, especially since Microsoft is promoting it as their flagship launch title.

And yes, it looks good- the deal made all the sweeter because of the game being 1080p and 60FPS, which few other next gen games, and even fewer Xbox One games, are. Having said that, however, all my usual complaints from the other times that I have shared the videos for this game with you still stand- the environments still look undetailed, the trees and crowds look almost 2D, and it looks like all the effort into graphical fidelity went into the cars.

It still looks good, and the game will be great. Just, I wish it was more consistent as far as graphical fidelity goes.

Forza Motorsport 5 launches with the Xbox One November 22.
