New Lords of Shadow 2 Development Diary Talks About Dracula

The new developer diary talks about the iconic character's inclusion in the upcoming conclusion to the Lords of Shadow saga.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, the upcoming sequel to Lords of Shadow, the first game that managed to translate Konami’s flagship franchise successfully into the third dimension, and the third game of the saga (following this year’s Mirror of Fate on the Nintendo 3DS as an interquel), looks simply epic. As it channels more and more of classic Castlevania into this new interpretation of the franchise’s universe, fans have reason to be excited.

Take Dracula, for example. The iconic villain, who has also been the main antagonist of the Castlevania franchise over the years, marks his first appearance in Lords of Shadow 2 in the Lords of Shadow saga, and the new development diary tells us about the challenges of tackling such an iconic character, as well as more about the thought process that led to his inclusion in the game.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 launches next year. Konami is inviting all fans to submit questions for future developer diary videos to Konami’s Twitter @Konami.
