New Max Payne 3 trailer showcases visual effects and cinematics

Posted By | On 20th, Mar. 2012

Rockstar has released a new trailer for Max Payne 3 which showcases the visual effects and cinematics in the game. For example, the cover system is fragile and low quality construction materials can be destroyed pretty fast. It’s this attention to detail that makes the game pretty amazing to look at.

Visual Effects and Cinematics focuses on the efforts to which Rockstar Studios has gone to bring a unique and powerfully cinematic presentation style to the fluid and sophisticated gunplay of Max Payne 3.

The video highlights the real time motion-comic panel generator that updates the graphic novel style cutscenes made famous by the original games, as well as a series of innovations that move the game seamlessly from cutscene to gunplay and from one chapter to the next, putting greater emphasis on the moment-to-moment shooting action.

The game will be released on May 18 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
