Minecraft’s extremely successful PlayStation 3 port just received title update 14 and it’s got some notable new additions- notably, it brings to the game the expected additions such as Emeralds, Ender Chests, Zombie Villagers, and more, much, much more along those lines.
But it also brings with it two skin packs. Unimaginatively titled Skin Pack 1 and The Battle and Beasts Skin Pack (don’t look at me, I don’t know how they make any sort of a pattern), they add a bunch of Sony stalwarts including Nathan Drake from Uncharted, folks from Heavy Rain, some Killzone dudes, and Sly Cooper. The second skin pack adds koalas, a Cleopatra look-a-like, various cavemen, and an octopus. So… yeah. It’s a pretty interesting mix.
In addition, two texture packs are also launching for the game- The City Texture pack is perfect for the modernist Minecrafter, as it makes creations look more modern and clinical. The Plastic Texture pack makes things look a lot more, you guessed it, plasticky.
