Nintendo has announced a completely new game at Nintendo Direct and we presume it’s a sequel to Wii’s Xenoblade which took the world… err, at least Wii owners by storm. If you are on the fence regarding the system, you really need to watch the trailer now, it’s epic.

It looks like there’s multiplayer in the game, and it seems like a co-op mechanic, but I’m not sure. The official page for the same is now open but it’s in Japanese. The trailer shows some mech transformation and some amazing scale.

The game also features some mech fights but this is way too awesome without official details. For now, we only know that it is named X, as we saw at the end of the trailer, and that probably looks like a sequel to Xenoblade 2.

The graphics look pretty good but it looks like there’s multiplayer too based on the chat window that we can see in the game. There are giant monsters which you can take out as a team probably and it looks like a Monster Hunter game.

It also might be possible that this is an Earthbound game, but let’s be honest, there’s slight chance of that happening. One can always hope, though.
