New multiplayer mode announced for SOCOM 4

Posted By | On 31st, Mar. 2011

With only a month to go before its release, a new multiplayer mode for the game has just been announced.

The mode, titled Bomb Squad, will see 16 players per team attempting to either defend or defuse a series of bombs placed around the map. The twist is that only one player on the defusing team spawns as the bomb squad guy and, with his padded suit and extra equipment, he will move in a much more cumbersome manner than other players. It is thus that his team mates must protect him from the vicious and faster moving opposition.

With Bomb defusing duties changing each round, this mode is sure to insight camaradarie and hatred between players in equal measure.
