New Need for Speed Rivals Trailer Shows Off Network App for Second Screen Experience

This is becoming a trend now.

Need for Speed: Rivals, which released last month as one of the best games in the series in nearly a decade, is getting a second screen experience (which is ironic, because it isn’t on the only system that natively supports a second screen) by way of a Need for Speed Rivals apps for tablets and smartphones.

It’s called ‘Network,’ and it assists players by giving them access to their friends lists and GPSs on their smart device on the go; given that one of the issues with Rivals is its interface, having access to it exclusively on a dedicated, touch screen device should help matters a bit.
