Prey

A new trailer for Prey has just been released and while the trailer doesn’t show a ton of new content it does show some of what we’ve seen before from a different perspective. This video shows the player taking over the role of the protagonist in the form of a woman.

You might remember that the first Prey trailer unveiled the game through the viewpoint of a man named Morgan Yu. The character in this video, called “Another Yu” appears to be showing off the customization that is offered in the upcoming title.

That upcoming title has already been called a “reimagining” of the original IP and being able to play as a female is just a part of that reimagining. For now, it appears these little glimpses into Prey are all we’re going to be able to get for a while. The game still doesn’t have an official release date, but it’s expected to be landing for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 sometime in 2017.
