New Rocksmith Video Shows Guns n’ Roses Guitarist Jamming To It

Ringing endorsement.

Ubisoft’s Rocksmith, the music game which actually leads to the player acquiring some meaningful guitaring skills, is getting a new update this year: Rocksmith 2014 Edition, and Ubisoft is going all out to promote the upcoming software.

In this new video, they show us  Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, the lead guitarist for popular band Guns n’ Roses, jamming to some music he plays using Rocksmith- in fact, all music in the video, Ubisoft points out, was Thal playing away in Rocksmith’s Session Mode.

Rocksmith has found a niche of its own where it has been successful in spite of the general crash of the music games market- one of the reasons might be that it does not require you to buy an expensive peripheral, but rather encourages you to plug in your own guitar and try to actually learn how to play the guitar.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage on the game.
