Piranha Bytes’ 2019 sci-fi RPG ELEX was a little rough around the edges, but even though the game had its fair share of issues, it had enough going for it to really build and cultivate a dedicated fanbase. That fanbase had some interesting things to look forward to this year when ELEX 2 launched earlier this month. The game featured five factions, with each of them having their own unique bases, different weapons, magic and skills. There were over 100 enemy types in the game while the five factions offered more than 300 NPCs that would play a part in the story. The overall number of spoken words was over than 350,000 with the NPCs having the lion’s share. Along with different party members each having their own unique questlines, there are also world quests and dungeons to explore. Experiencing everything could take up to 60 hours.
