Octopath Traveler’s HD-2D aesthetic is surely one of the best new things Square Enix has come up with in quite some time, and seeing that come back in a game should have been an exciting prospect in and of itself. Add to that  a well-made turn-based tactics RPG and you have a game that it’s hard not to be excited about.
