Gotham Knights has been on our radars pretty much since the day it was first announced, and that’s not just because it’s set in the Batman universe (though that’s a pretty huge bonus, of course). The promise of having four playable superheroes, each with their own distinct strengths and weaknesses, is an exciting one, and being able to freely explore a much more dynamic and lived-in open world is, of course, a big draw as well. There is still some skepticism out there about whether taking the action RPG route is the right fit for this game- but if developer WB Games Montreal can get the balance right, they might just deliver one of their best games ever.
