Nintendo released an all new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Platinum Games developed Wii U exclusive, The Wonderful 101 during the Nintendo Direct presentation that was held earlier today.

There’s plenty of gameplay footage in there. We’d expect nothing less of a gameplay trailer, duh.

The game looks great, and seems to have the typical Platinum Games gamemaking style that combines fast paced, action packed gameplay and what seems to be good writing so far. However, the genre seems like nothing Platinum has ever tried to tackle before, so it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Watch the trailer above.

What do you guys think of it? Do you think Platinum is doing a good job with the game, or is the pressure of developing at least three major titles at the same time getting to them? Voice your thoughts in the comments section below!

The Wonderful 101 releases for the Wii U sometime in the first half of 2013. A release date is as yet unconfirmed.
