Atelier Ayesha 2

A new trailer for the Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dust has just the ground, and features the various playable characters in the game and also a brief snippet of gameplay. Have a look:

The Alchemist of Dusk is the fourteenth installment in the long running Atelier series. However, the narrative is completely independent of the previous installment so new comers won’t find themselves overwhelmed. The plot follows the journey of Ayeha, a herbalist who sets out on an journey to find her long lost little sister Nio, who was presumed to be dead till one day Ayesha sees what seems to be Nio but failed to pursue her.

The fleeting glimpse of gameplay featured in the trailer is reminiscent of Eternal Sonata, and JRPG fans should keep an eye out for this one. The game has been available in Japan for quite a while and received generally positive reviews. It releases today in North America, and on the 8th of this month in Europe.
