The Creative Assembly is back to delivering us a new game in the franchise that made it big, with Attila: Total War having been announced for next year, exclusively for PC. The game has already generated a spark of excitement within the fan community, not because of how graphically stunning it looks, or because of the promise of the intricate Total War mechanics returning, with another coat of polish and refinement- those are a given, after all- but also because this promises to be one of the first games that will look at exploring this particular section of history.

But if you were more interested in the game side of the equation, then you will like this brand new video, which shows off the mechanics of war in the upcoming game- everything from generals, army resource and morale management, and more.
