World of Speed is the upcoming massively multiplayer online racing game by Slightly Mad Studios, the same folks who are bringing us the breathtaking, gorgeous looking Project Cars later this year (or next year if you own a Wii U). The new trailer, aptly titled Dream Drive, shows a Mazda RX-7 racing it on against a Mercedes Benz 190E.
World of Speed will feature the kind of next generation persistently connected racing game gameplay that we have been promised by multiple companies for their upcoming racers for a while now- racers like Forza Motorsport 5, DriveClub, Forza Horizon 2, Need for Speed: The Run, and The Crew have been offering that kind of persistently connected, evolving, growing, and dynamic gameplay for a while now. It appears that World of Speed will finally realize that promise.
